A new dog grooming competition show hosted by Rebel Wilson is facing backlash over allegations of animal abuse. In ABC’s “Pooch Perfect”, groomers have four hours to trim, dye and accessorize their dogs. The show has a few wild transformations, including a dog made to look like a lynx, a poodle modified to look like a bright flamingo, and a scruffy dog turned into a peacock, complete with feathers. PETA spokesperson Ashley Byrne said they had received numerous complaints about the show.
